mobile metal analyser

Improved mobile metal analyser. Several new technologies and applications have been incorporated into the third generation SPECTROTEST mobile metal analyser to create a flexible instrument suitable for all types of on-site metal identification and analysis. The combination of a new readout system and the proven optics enable precise results to be obtained in a shorter analysis time. Higher measurement accuracy is achieved for arc excitation analyses using the integrated Fingerprint method. This technique compares the measured spectrum with the spectra from stored reference samples. A comparison can be selected for Fe, Al, Cu, Ni, Co and Ti matrices. The concentrations within the unknown sample are calculated automatically, thus eliminating the common errors which arise when spectra are evaluated in the traditional way. A new software assistant facilitates the development of individual sorting programs, including the setting of tolerance values. A data manager has also been included to support laboratories with the organisation and documentation of stored measurement results.
